During the month of jan 12th until feb 5th I will be in Lethbridge offering private training in the Ayurveda Spa Specialist program (www.ayurvedictouch.com)
and also doing an Ayurveda Buffet night for $35 per person on jan saturday 24th from 6pm to 8;30pm, it is by reservation, on that night I discuss the best food combinations and spices for Vata Pitta and Kapha bodymind types.As well as cook foods to have an all you can eat buffet.
It is a causal environment of food and sharing. All in Lethbridge are welcome.

Dear Tammy
There are several books on Ayurveda that can speak further about your bodymind type, my favourites are from my three mentors, Dr.Robert Svoboda ,a book called Prakruti your Ayurveda Constititution, and a classic writer for women is Bri.Maya Tiwari, her three books are amazing on how she healed her body and life from cancer with Ayurveda, the first book is Ayurveda a life of Balance ,which is a must read,! my third mentor is Dr.Vasant Lad, all his books are very informative.
I will post up soon the Pitta balancing skincare rituals.

- Very interesting! I have never heard of this before, but took the questionaire to find out what Dosha i am. I am mostly a Vata apparently, with a score of 14, Kapha was a 9 and Pitta was a 6. The overview sounds like me! Now i just need to read some more and figure out what it all means and what to do . . . thanks for the info!

Vata balancing rituals for the New Year!
1.Keep Warm,wear extra clothing, invite warm caring supportive people into your life.Eat warm ,moist, nourishing foods like stews and soups,no cold salads, or drinks or dry food that will increase cold in your body.
2.Keep Grounded,stay calm focus on your breathing in times of stress,Avoid stressful situations and people.Hold smokey quartz crystals in your hands and minerals or rocks from the Divine Mother.
3.Keep Focused,Do one thing at a time!,Avoid being over-whelmed,avoid excessive talking,exercising, shopping, and overwork between the hours of 3pm to 7pm.Take rest during those hours,make a time to reflect, do your meditations or take time out for yourself
Drink warm water with ginger or a warm milk beverage, almond,soya, rice or goat or cows milk,
Begin Abhyanga Ayurveda Self Massage using Rituals bodycare products,(www.ayurvedictouch.com,www.ayurvedicrituals.com coming soon)
Tone your skin for extra hydration using the Liquid Nectar(www.ritualsforrejuvenation.com)then massage the Rejuvenation Serum using the Marma therapy sequence on site, ,follow with the Renewal cream, by massaging generously into the face and neck.
for extra care apply the Vata facial mask and ubtan to skin, mix 2tbsps of mashed avocado,add half tsp of the mask powder, add two sprays of the Liquid Nectar, mix and apply to face and neck ,leave on for 20mins rinse off and apply the Rejuvenation Serum and Renewal cream,
