As our bodies are mainly water, from 75% to 85% depending who you ask, of which about 5.6 liter is your blood. The most important functions of our kidney are to filter and cleanse our blood and the other is balance the acid/alkaline level of our blood, in addition to excrete the waste material as urine to our bladder. Majority of the water going through the kidney came from the colon (large intestine). The water was absorbed by the colon from food and drinks that we consumed.
If you have constant pain in your lower back, and you often wake up during your sleep to urinate, chances are you have kidney stone or your kidneys are having problem. There are many methodologies that you can eliminate the kidney stones using alternative ways. (I have developed a protocol that is effective for that and I will explain that in Note 5 of 6, when I discuss Calcium), but if you find traces of blood in your urine, you should consult your doctor immediately.
To keep your kidney in good shape, you should drink lots of water during the day but stop within one hour before sleep time. One indication that you are not drinking enough water is yellow or cloudy urine (other than the first urination of the day when you get up).
You should remember that what is in your bladder is toxic waste; treat it like nuclear waste, empty that ASAP, holding back may cause the toxin to redeposit back into your body.
