The Body Soul & Spirit Expo

My beloved master taught me that in each and everybody dwells the Super Soul. The guiding inner light. Some Christians would call it the Holy Ghost, of the Holy Spirit. This energy of conscious lives in every being. When I was little, around 7yrs. old, I really wanted a candy bar, while I was in the store with my mother. She wouldn't buy it for me. I stole one and put it in my pocket. After a few minutes, I felt very awful. I knew I did something wrong, and that I should put it back. I put it back. No one noticed I took it, and no one noticed I put it back. But who saw the whole show, was the Super Soul within. It is to that inner light, known by different people in different ways, by different names, that I try to connect to. From the ancient wisdom of India, this inner light is known as Bhagavan. If we can connect by heart to Him, we will walk the straight and narrow path, of goodness and health, and love. Let the inner light guide.............thanks for this group........p.dasi.

Hi P. dasi, Great topic! I'm trying to remember the Sanskrit word for "At One with Guidance" Bodhisattvayana? or the state of consciousness that includes the ablity to alway know the right action to take in the moment. I've found that when I am in "the zone" that guidance is alway provided in at the moment it is needed, and I only have to surrender to "What Is" and trust. When I start "SEEKING" guidance from a position of worry, that it often doesn't come..

In the mid 80's I was married, for the second time, to the father of my children, living in Europe. I really wanted the connection to be healthy and work. It became clear that was never going to happen. Life became extremely dangerous for me. My physical body suffered, my heart hurt so much it went numb, even to my children.
It was not pleasant. It was extreme. No one should ever need to have the Police on speed dial.
I asked Great Spirit for an intervention. I offered up my body and I asked to host a walk-in. This was during the Harmonic Convergence, and, I cried myself open until peace drifted in. The next day, for the first time, I went to the small, American library and began to walk the shelves, knowing there was an answer somewhere in the stacks. I was not surprised when the books began to fall.
One of the books was entitled, "Channeling Your Higher Self". I knew that was an important thought. I felt it was in direct response to my request to host a walk-in. I called my mother-in-law in Italy and she flew to our house in Greece. When she arrived she and I did my first past-life regression. (Note here that she and I loved each other, unconditionally. We both realized we cannot help what our children do when they are grown.)
After this first session, I began remembering parts of my past life experiences and piecing them together. I was born remembering, but had allowed my desire to fit in to cover the memories up. I survived and I grew and began to serve others as a way of keeping sane. It may be true that we give what we most desire. My husband had collected our kids passports and I refused to leave without my kids. I lived four years that way. Four years of absolute fear. That will do things to anyone. Given the opportunity to die, I lived. Maybe it was out of spite. I discovered/remembered I had work to do. I went on to gain greater recall of the whole of me and began to work as a Healer. I gave my selfish, material head the boot, and began to channel MYSELF.
This would be a good story of trusting Spirit to take good care of me in difficult situations, but, it didn't end there.
Fast forward 20 years. (another note: Spirit does not use the same time-table as people do)
I took a job as a masseuse in a small town in the Blue Ridge mountains. One day the owner gave me a ticket to hear some guy give a presentation on Intuition and Dreams. When I declined, she insisted. I went, basically, to keep my job.
To my horror, this guy started using words from my book on Channeling Your Higher Self - one of the very books that saved my life and the lives of my entire family. I sat, red faced and furious, dreaming of all the ways I was going to rip this guy a new one. He was plagiarizing what had become, to me, a Holy Book.
I went home that afternoon and dug out my old book. I was going to prove this guy had stolen someone else's words.
Can you imagine my surprise when I flipped the book over and found a picture of the very guy I was going to destroy?
We have been married now for almost 6 years.
Now THAT is a story!

Smokeydragonlady is an interesting handle.

The most interesting stories to me are the ones I learn from. What I learn from interesting stories, I tend to remember.
Each and every one of us has the same opportunity to see the world the way we would like to see it, every moment.
Every part of every day is a blank page in the story of our lives, ready for new ink.

One of the many things I came to realize is that, if we do not give up and stop, we always find what we are looking for.
I recognized the terrible fact that the majority of people, seem to, look for the worst possible scenario.
"That guy cut me off!" "You did that on purpose!" " Why do you always make me.......?" " Those guys are idiots."

I dawned on me to wonder what my life might be like if I always looked for the gift in every situation, rather than the fault.

"That guy cut me off. I hope he makes it where he's going alright. He probably took my place for something and saved my ass from something nasty!"
"You did that on purpose! Does that mean you love me?"
" Sometimes, I screw up and wish I could blame someone else. But, I am responsible for my life, not anyone else, today."
" Man, those guys sure do operate differently than I do!! I wonder what I can learn from them?"

I look for the good stuff these days. And I find it almost everywhere I look. I offer you the challenge to try the same.

(What if..) I am an expression of perfection, made perfectly for what I asked to do in this life and God is good to me.
Parents, naturally, tend to love and look out for the best interests of their off-spring.
Why would Great Mother and the Father be any different?
Just because I have to work to see the good in a thing,(the thing being reasonable to start with), does not mean it is wrong. It might be wrong, but that is not the first thing I think of anymore. It might be just right.
Life is good.

Thank you for your words! I know to strive to always see what is in front of me and to look at it from a positive learning and evolving aspect. It is not always easy but it makes us stronger souls with more empathy. Love and Light!

Positive or Negative, Good luck or Bad luck,,,,,, who can tell?

There is an ancient story about this I'd like to share, that I am sure many of you would find interesting, and I am looking forward to your comments on this one...........

" Once there was an old farmer, whose only farm horse ran off and disappeared in the middle of night. Next morning the farmer's neighbor came out to find the farmer ploughing his field by hand. What happened, the neighbor inquired. Oh my horse ran off. The neighbor replied oh that is very negative, and a bad luck. Positive, Negative, good luck , bad luck, who can tell replied the farmer.

Next day the neighbor sees the farmer with 5 new young horses in his field. What happened my good man, said the neighbor to the farmer. Oh my old horse came back, and brought with it these five young wild horses. That is very positive and good luck then said the neighbor. Good luck, bad luck, who can tell, said the farmer, as he asked his son to set up a coral to train the horses, for ploughing the field.

Next day the neighbor sees the farmer's son on crutches. What happened my good man? Oh my son broke both his legs while trying to train the horses, replied the farmer. Oh what bad luck said the neighbor. Good luck, bad luck, who can tell replied the farmer.

Next day a government official came to the village to enlist whatever young men he could find into the army to be trained for an upcoming battle. Seeing the young son of the farmer deformed by the horse accident, he passed that house by.

The neighbor said to the farmer that was actually good luck your son broke his legs, at least he is alive, and will remain alive, not having to risk his life in war. It is all in God's hands was the farmer's final reply.

OK, I will say that I have always loved this story.
I can never hear it, or it's many similar off-shoots, too often.
Thanks for sharing,P.
