Orbs?

Orbs are believed (by many) to be ghosts in the form of balls of light. They are life forms that travel in groups and are believed to be the human soul or life force of those that once inhabited a physical body here on earth. Psychics claim to talk to them on a regular basis, and ghost hunters encounter them quite frequently. It is said that they are those spirits that have willingly stayed behind because they feel bound to their previous life or previous location for whatever reason.

Still others say they are much more, and include thought forms, devic and angelic beings, and much more. One thing is for certian, they are being seen more often than ever.

What are your thoughts?

I have issues, to be honest with the whole orb phenomenon.
Don't get me wrong: I've seen orbs fly under me, in front of me, through my living room etc etc... but after years of being in hundreds of haunted, and non-haunted (if that's a term) locations, both Steph and I find that there is really no way to differentiate between what is particle being distorted and reflected by the camera light and actual orbs in photographs. The ones we count (speaking of photography only) are ones we've seen physically and the ones that we can grab a temp. reading from (as an orb of energy is actually about 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the room).

Namaste Chandler,,,,,,,,,,,Your observation that , more orbs, are being seen more often than ever, is because more people are dying these days from sudden death, as opposed to normally reaching old age. Car accidents, plane accidents, death by overdose of drugs, suicides, are on the rise, and these souls still have an intense connection, and are overly attached, to the physical world. It is hard for them to pass on,. They try to continue their stay on the earthly plane, by becoming connected to the living. If you come in contact with them, it is best to consciously direct them away, sending them on to their next life, by telling them they need to take birth again, and get a physical body, to fulfill their unfinished desires and buisness..........Ayurveda deals with such issues. Dr. David Frawley talks about it in his book: "Ayuvedic Healing"

Yes some are Spirits and I have seen some I believe are Angelic. :) Any photogrphers out there = let's go ...

So what ratio do you figure are real as compared to reflections, distortions, etc., Morgan? Or should I put it how many have you been able to measure and see physically?

Yes, Shannan, I believe that there are Angels all around us. I feel them all the time. I work with some. They have a warm fuzzy feeling to them (most of them).

have always had orbs around me and now I continually see them around my little one who is now 6, she also sees them. There are so many infinite possibilities of what these could be I have never really made a guess or an assumtion and to what they could be. They are most often around me when I am dancing...Belly dance very often creates in me blissful wonder and in turn becomes a sort of moving meditation. I/we have never felt threatened and have always felt calm and warmth with there pressence....I will add some pic's to my homepage here, see what you all think...
