I have not disappeared! Just been moving and tending to my container garden (and working of course). I'll be back. Indeed, it has been quiet!

It's great to see your comments in here today. It was just yesterday I thought of how quiet all the forums (five of them) I belong to have been. Yes, the gathering of like-minded kin can be nourishing and comforting.

Slowly, I see the count of Shamanic Warriors rise, like sweet cream on new milk we, here, can form ourselves into a new kind of nourishment.
We gather in our comfortable chairs and meet here, as if we were at the kitchen table of a dear friend, to design and create a new recipe for our life.
For those who have not written in a while,
I miss your input into my daze.

HI Steve,
I saw your feathers fluff and thought I'd add a little something to back you.
As a tiny person in south GA, my grandaddy would give me drops of medicinal turpentine on sugar cubes for just about every kind of ailment. I had some pretty severe allergies to my surroundings, but that bit of pine helped me feel a whole lot better. The mighty Pine is a wonderful healer!

Thanks for that Steve. Another thing that might be worth looking at is hydrogen peroxide. I haven't had the flu or a cold for so long (more than ten years) that I haven't had the opportunity to try this but I believe that at the first sign of a cold or flu, a couple of drops of 3% in the ears (then flushed out with water) will stop it in its tracks. Apparently you can expect a little tingling (even stinging) for a moment but the theory is that the virus starts in the ear, moves into the sinuses and then it's on its way to assaulting your whole system.

Janis & Melody - love your conversation. I believe (& discuss at length in my book) that absolutely everything in this life comes down to how you think. Everything in this life is also just somebody else's perception - the only reality is yours and to change your reality - you have to change the way you think. If you see a person who calls the glass "half empty" as being negative then that is your reality. I don't see it that way. If the glass is half empty then I only have to drink a couple of mouthfuls before I can fill it up again (maybe with something even nicer) and there's nothing negative in that.

We have been taught all our lives to see the negative and as a result, most people are really really good at it. It's time to change that and Janis you are so right - there IS positive in everything if only we are willing to see it.

When I was told by a team of ten specialists that I had an absolute maximum of 7 days to live and there was nothing whatsoever that they could do to help me, the message most people would have received is "I'm going to die." The message I chose to receive was "You have a challenge greater than anything you have ever faced and if you can find a way around it - you will have achieved something that even the experts believe is impossible' - so I did, and I'm still here 4 years later. Continue your wonderful paths - I truly take my hat off to you both.
