Joey has not received any gifts yet
Four weeks and many tests later, the doctor appears, grim faced and stern of voice. “You have chronic progressive multiple sclerosis.” I’m told a wheelchair is in my future, that future may only be a decade, and if you had any hopes of having children a dog would be a better option.
News delivered, his mission accomplished, my doctor left to bring good tidings to another unsuspecting patient. There was more news coming and to this day I wonder whose medical chart the doctor was reading. Yes, I had severe MS, yes, the prognosis was grim. But! What's this about kids? Doctor, I had enough radiation in me to glow in the dark from all your tests. So tell me how you missed a first trimester pregnancy? I know pregnancy was never mentioned, I'd never missed a pill but how did you miss it? Turns out he had an answer for that too. A "birth control baby", one we can terminate immediately.

Thanks for the invite. My husband was diagnosed with MS in 1991. His positive spiritual attitude has played a big part in keeping him out of a full-time wheelchair. I have also given him Reiki and Homeopathy which has helped him too. I'd love to meet you sometime - perhaps at the Expo?

Your story is inspirational, it's amazing how we encounter challenges in life that are set there to guide us on our journey. What seem's like a curse turns out to be a blessing as long as we are willing to open up to the possibilities which are endless.
Thanks for inviting me.

Thank you for the invite, since I am new to this forum. I loved your story and I find it to be very inspiring. What do they say about life? Its what happens after you've made your plans. Well in this case, life had biiger plans for you than the prognosis given by your doctor. I would like to here more about what you have done over the years. Write when you can.
Regards from Montreal.

Thanks for the number...Once I am in Calgary, I will have a better understanding of what time I will be free for the night...and then I will be able to let you know, I will most likely call you from the airport and see if you are available...I will keep up communication and when the date gets closer, let you know exactly when and if you are free and I have time after I drop the group then that would be wonderful....
in peace,
Anita
