- A little about myself...I have been trained in the Incan tradition of Shamanism which has helped me to remember the inner knowing we all have if we are quiet enough to really listen and be aware. I am one who shares and my intent is to be of service to anyone seeking wholeness whether physically or spiritually.
I can't remember what book this is from but I like the philosophy...
...disintegration of mind, will and body is what produces disease as we know it. Similarly, it is the union of these 3 aspects of consciousness that unites and heals the disease. The mind is a powerful thing and, when turned against the will or the body as a result of past or current abuses inflicted upon the individual, it further fragments the individual's internal defenses and induces the spread of infection or disease.
I have also come rep a supplement that has incredible detox properties. Our body is an amazing thing and we come equipped with the necessary substance that we need to keep our cells functioning at their very best. Although over time and because of the Toxic world we live in today, this substance, Glutathione, decreases as early as age of 20 and does so by 10-15% every decade. As our bodies master antioxidant and antitoxin, Glutathione is a major chelator of heavy metals and toxins and neutralizes free radicals that damage our cells which leads to ill health and inflammation. Think of the most common age related issues - joint pain, loss of energy, loss of mental function and mood, poor immune system etc.
It is not uncommon for health care practitioners to be unaware about this valuable substance because, until now, there was no way to overcome the ingestion and absorption issues. Even with direct Glutathione injections, the absorption issue is questionable and not everyone can afford them.

I started learning the lodge ways only because I have young relatives and family member that I want to help via the lodge. If I don't learn it and practice it, who will they go to when all our kehteyak are gone? I am a link in the chain that come from the past and goes into the future. Much of these lodge lifeways can't be discussed in this forum, only experienced where it happens. Anyway, peace and light to you.

Glad to hear that you too are working withthe healing energies stones offer. I find that if i am tired that best wakeupis to play with rocks-often people around me havbe thought i was losing mine-I grew up in ontario surrounded by granite, Iron ore and amethyst-when i moved to alberta it took me awhile to realize it was the rock energy that i wasn't feeling. Everytime I go to BC, the minute that the mountains are buzzing around me-that's exactly what i do....
One of my favorite books to play with is actually called crystal prescriptions. It is written backwards to most of the others-rather than telling you what the stone is good for it gives you the dis-ease and than lists the stones that can help-she was the starting place for what has developed into a very energetic pastime. that book has probably become the biggest resource i use even during readings...check it out, it certainly simplified my learning. I will take anotherlook at the crystal bible-that is one of the few I deceided not to purchase at the time i was looking at it-though I have the chakra bible and love it...:)
have a wonderful day -am off to a peace celebration this morning-looking forward to spending the day with ennergy conscious persons-while the hubby is off playing with fish and ice in the snow...think i got the better of the choices here..

Nehiyaw ways of knowing is a vast subject area filled with notions of spirit and relationships. In order to appreciate spirit and understand it through relationships beginning with the Self, a person needs to be "still". It is in stillness, that one hears spirit and the voice of spirit in the wind, the sun, the willow, the earth and all things.
