Too funny - my wife, Lilian, is the photographer in our house too. :)
My studio is mainly digital (with the exception of the microphones, mixer etc needed to bring the sound in). I use the Cubase platform (Cubase, Protools and Logic are the big ones). The music you listened to from my new CD was done in my studio - with the exception of the drums which I farmed out to a drummer in Vancouver and we just bounced the tracks back a forth over the net.
I do projects for other people but try to limit it to one per month to allow time to focus on my own pursuits. When I work with other folks, I like to be well prepared and get the job done quickly an efficiently both for the client's sake and for mine. When projects drag on, everyone looses the passion and, of course, the bill goes up.
Many of the projects I do are for people doing their part to make the world a better place - authors, speakers, yoga teachers, meditation instructors and so on. It's kind of one stop shopping here - recording, editing, mixing, arranging/production, music composition, and mastering to prep for duplication. My clients seem to prefer this so that there aren't so many hands in the cookie dough and they can communicate dierctly with me to ensure their CD or audio project turns out the way they want it to.
Anyway, hope that answers your question.
Is Garret out performing anywhere these days? Let me know and maybe I can check him out. Do you do photography professionally or on the side?

Thanks for the note, but since I don't know Kory Harvey from Trail, it would be very unlikely we are relatives. Most of my family are in Ontario. I seem to be the only sheep who strayed west.

I am using my wand and love the fact there are crystals in there working on a vibrational level. Better hydration combined with cellular fuel is an ultimate combination. Now if we could only do something to purify the air we breathe!

you are such a sweety....i fly thru so doggone quick cuz i have so many others things fryin at the same time-but i do seem to leave an impact evrywhere i go...those 'have we met before' lines are usually a pick up line-you either know we have crossed paths or figger out real quick-not a chance...will be touchin base after st paul-am so eggs-cited. can't wait to meet in calgary-i always hated going there, so this is really the first trip i am kinda lookin forward too. used to live in high river & going to calgary was always a pain-nowit is just out of the way to the paths i travel-whether i am going east or west-never made it a destination spot before-could be kinda fun. Pat is working my booth with me-so it will be good to spend time w/ her and get to know you guys all in the same weekend-truly blessed I am....
